The Chief Toye Aloko Scholarship Programme was established to celebrate the enduring legacy of Chief Toye Aloko, a man whose life embodied dedication, integrity, and community service.
Chief Toye Aloko believed deeply in the power of education as the foundation for personal and societal progress. Throughout his lifetime, he supported young people, promoted fairness, and encouraged others to use their talents for the greater good.
In continuing this legacy, the scholarship provides financial support and encouragement to undergraduate students in Nigerian universities who demonstrate academic excellence, financially disadvantage, character, and a strong sense of community responsibility.
Beyond financial aid, the programme seeks to build a network of future leaders who will uphold Chief Toye Aloko’s values of hard work, compassion, and integrity.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
Be a citizen of Nigeria and an indigene of Mopa-Muro LGA in Kogi State
Be enrolled in a recognized Nigerian university (federal or state).
Be in good academic standing with a minimum CGPA of 3.0 (or equivalent).
Demonstrate financial need and a commitment to completing their degree program.
